The Verein organizes events like the Flea Market, Fun Run, Fun Day, and many other activities. Not every event happens every year, but every year there is something happening.
Join the JFK Flea Market 2027
Our annual Flea Market is a bustling community event that welcomes not only JFKS families but the general public. It’s a fantastic opportunity to find a wide variety of second-hand items, including clothes, books, and household goods. This popular event serves as a great introduction for prospective families to experience the spirit of the JFKS community.

The JFK Fun Day will be back in Fall 2027!
Fun Day is an exciting, large-scale community event that brings together the entire JFKS community—students, parents, teachers, and alumni. Hosted every other year, this day is packed with a variety of activities provided by different school groups, including food and drink booths, games, live music, raffles, and more. While it’s not a direct fundraiser for the Verein, it’s a fantastic opportunity for school clubs and groups to raise funds for their own projects and a key moment for our community to connect and celebrate together.

The JFK Fun Run
The JFKS Fun Run is a school-wide event that brings students, teachers, and families together for a day of sports and fundraising. Students participate in the run while family and friends support their efforts through donations. The event is organized with the help of many volunteers from the school community, and the funds raised allow to support many projects and activities at JFKS.
The concept is simple and effective: students collect pledges from family and friends for each lap they run on the sports field. The money raised goes directly toward providing essential resources for various school classes, clubs, and initiatives for the academic year. It’s a wonderful way for our community to get active and tangibly support the school.
The next Fun Run will be held in Fall 2028.

Courage Week
Courage Week is an annual, school-wide program at JFKS that encourages students to engage with topics such as kindness, courage, democracy, diversity, inclusion, social justice, and remembrance. Throughout the week, students from Entrance Class through 12th grade take part in age-appropriate workshops, performances, films, discussions, and classroom activities, with contributions from students, teachers, and outside speakers and organizations. The program also includes activities for teachers and families, making Courage Week an opportunity for the whole JFKS community.
