The Student Activity Fund (SAF) supports teachers and students in managing funds for student activities. Each sub-area has a teacher responsible for it, and one teacher — currently Lori Cook — oversees the SAF as a whole, receives incoming funds, and pays invoices. However, the SAF is not a legal entity and therefore cannot hold its own bank account. For formal legal reasons, the bank account is held in the name of the Association. The distinction between the SAF and the Association is explained in more detail on the following page.
Important: Please make sure you use the correct IBAN when making transfers, as both accounts include the word “Verein” in their name. The IBAN ending in 05 belongs to the SAF; the IBAN ending in 02 belongs to the Verein. (We will be changing the Verein’s bank account in the coming weeks, which will make this distinction clearer.)

Der Student Activity Fund (SAF) unterstützt Lehrer- und Schülerschaft beim Verwalten von Geldern für Aktivitäten der Schülerschaft. Für jeden Unterbereich ist ein Lehrer verantwortlich, und eine Lehrkraft – derzeit Lori Cook – verwaltet den SAF insgesamt, nimmt Geldbeträge entgegen und zahlt Rechnungen. Der SAF ist allerdings kein Rechtskörper und kann kein Bankkonto unterhalten, daher gehört das Bankkonto formalrechtlich dem Verein. Die Abgrenzung zwischen SAF und Verein wird auf der folgenden Seite noch etwas genauer erklärt.
Wichtig: Passt auf, welche IBAN Ihr für Überweisungen verwendet, denn beide haben den “Verein” im Namen. Die IBAN mit der Endung 05 gehört dem SAF, die IBAN mit der Endung 02 gehört dem Verein. (Das Vereinskonto werden wir in den nächsten Wochen ändern, dann wird das Ganze noch klarer.)
